A record number of residents, friends and family visited the Botanic Ridge estate earlier this year for our community’s annual Easter event!
Over 300 people visited the Maintop Reserve on Sunday 17th April to enjoy a coffee and relax in the sun, while the kids took advantage of the ever-popular face painter and waited patiently for the Easter Bunny to arrive.
Mayhem soon erupted when the Easter Bunny hopped his way into the park, and both the young and the young-at-heart were eager to receive some of his chocolate goodies.
It’s always great to see such a fantastic turn-out at our regular community events, and we hope everyone enjoyed this year’s Easter activities.

Congratulations to Lauren and Ryan Johnson who are the winners of our first ever “Great Gardening Competition!”
Their wonderful garden was selected from a number of high-calibre entries to be crowned the winners, with their design being chosen for its particular theme in keeping with Botanic Ridge’s proximity to the Royal Botanic Gardens and featuring Australian native and indigenous plant species.
A stunning Corymbia ficifolia “Wildfire” tree has been used as the garden’s centerpiece, framed in a circular granitic gravel plate and surrounded by timber sleeper uprights of differing heights, and the adjacent nature strip has also been landscaped beautifully in keeping with the overall design.
The couple won a $2,000 Bunnings voucher for their great gardening efforts, and Botanic Ridge would like to thank each and every participant for their involvement, it’s great to see so many residents taking a keen interest in their gardens.

Botanic Ridge hosted 35 eager students from Cranbourne South Primary School on Friday 29th July, as they dug in to support Planet Ark's annual "National Tree Day" initiative.
The students quickly made light work of the 500 plants and grasses kindly provided by the City of Casey Council, completing the designated planting region along Browns Road in under an hour.
This is the fourth year running that Botanic Ridge has teamed up with the City of Casey and Cranbourne South Primary School for National Tree Day, and to date the students have proudly regenerated the region with over 2,000 native plants.
